We are pleased to announce the implementation of Open Journal Systems (OJS) as the online manuscript submission and editorial management platform for Archives des Sciences: A Multidisciplinary Journal. The introduction of OJS represents an important step toward improving the efficiency, transparency, organization, and accessibility of the journal’s editorial and peer-review processes.
Through the OJS platform, authors can submit manuscripts electronically and follow the progress of their submissions throughout the editorial process. The system provides a structured workflow covering manuscript submission, initial assessment, editor assignment, peer review, revision, editorial decision, and preparation for publication.
The implementation of OJS also strengthens the management of the peer-review process. Editors can assign manuscripts to appropriate reviewers, monitor review progress, communicate with authors and reviewers, and maintain a clear record of editorial decisions and correspondence. Reviewers benefit from a centralized system through which they can access assigned manuscripts, submit review reports, and communicate with the editorial team.
By centralizing editorial activities within a dedicated scholarly publishing platform, the journal seeks to improve consistency, accountability, and communication throughout the publication process. The system also enables authors to receive timely notifications and maintain an organized record of revisions and editorial correspondence.
The adoption of OJS reflects the journal’s continuing commitment to transparent editorial practices, rigorous peer review, efficient manuscript management, and responsible scholarly publishing. It also supports the journal’s broader objective of providing researchers from diverse disciplines with an accessible and professionally managed platform for the dissemination of scholarly research.
We invite authors, reviewers, and editors to use the journal’s online submission system and take advantage of the improved functionality provided through OJS.
Archives des Sciences: A Multidisciplinary Journal will continue to strengthen its editorial infrastructure and publishing practices in support of scholarly integrity, accessibility, and effective communication within the international research community.
