Data-Driven Identification and Framework Development of Factors Influencing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Vitality Among University Students

Abstract

Enhancing the enthusiasm of college students for innovation and entrepreneurship is not only a requirement for regional economic and social development but also an important channel for solving college student employment issues. This study, based on a questionnaire survey of undergraduate students, constructs measurement indicators around the innovation and entrepreneurship vitality of college students and processes and analyzes the factors influencing this vitality using the SPSSAU platform. It further explores the roles of individual student factors, family factors, environmental factors, school education, and mentor factors in the innovation and entrepreneurship vitality of college students. Targeted suggestions and measures are proposed to improve the innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities of college students. The results show that students’ personal abilities and individual motivation are the core driving forces. Students’ practical experience and time invested in innovation and entrepreneurship training are key to their participation in innovation and entrepreneurship. Family support and school systems play a guaranteeing role in students’ enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship. It is recommended that schools strengthen the creation of an innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere and optimize the alignment between the curriculum and innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
